فزع بموريتانيا جراء تنامي جرائم الاغتصاب

شهدت جرائم الاغتصاب في موريتانيا تزايدا كبيرا خلال السنوات الأخيرة لتصبح مصدر قلق حقيقي للجهات الحكومية والمنظمات الأهلية المهتمة ، وتمثل الدونية التي ينظر بها المجتمع الي ضحايا الاغتصاب عائقا أمام جهود  دمجهم في الحياة الإجتماعية من جديد.

هذا المركز الواقع بحي الميناء الفقير في العاصمة نواكشوط بات قبلة ضحايا الاغتصاب اللاتي  يتزايد عددهن مع تنامي الظاهرة .
فور إبلاغ الصحية الشرطة تصحبها المرشدات  العاملات في المركز لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية والصحية وعلاجها نفسيا ، هذه الفتاة اعتدي عليها
احد أقاربها  و لم تبح  بالسر بفعل تهديد الجاني الى ان اكتشف امرها  بعدان أصبحت حاملا في شهرها الثالث

هنا تخضع الضحايا الحوامل لمتابعة مستمرة تحت إشراف مختصات، وتلقى اللواتي تبلغن مبكرا عن تعرضهن للاغتصاب اهتماما كبيرا لتخفيف وقع الصدمة عليهن 

عرفت جريمة الاغتصاب في السنوات الأخيرة تزايدا مذهلا ،حدا بمنظمات حكومية الي دق ناقوس الخطر من كارثة وشيكة بعد أن وصل عدد الضحايا في نواكشوط المئات سنويا، ضحايا غالبا ما يهمشهن المجتمع فيفشلن في التكيف مع واقعهن الجديد و تبقى الجهود المبذولة حتى الآن رمزية تحتاج الى تعزيز اكثر من قبل المجتمع المدني .

This center in the poor Al Minaa neighborhood in Nouakchott is the gathering of the rape victims whose number is increasing with the growing phenomenon.

 

 Soon as the victim informed the police accompanied by guides working in the center to complete the legal procedures, health and psychological treatment, this girl was raped by one of her relatives and did not tell anyone due to the threat of the offender till she discovered that she is pregnant in her third month.

My relative raped me when I was in my home and he threatened me by knife and warned me from telling my parents but after that they discovered that I’m pregnant and the police arrested the offender.

 

The guide

The victim and her parents are present but we don’t see the offender but we gather her to the police and thank God that police always arrest the offenders.

 

Here the pregnant victims receive care and follow up continues under supervision of specialists and the rape victims who report early receive great attention to the impact of the shock on them.

 

The midwife

We receive 2-5 rape victims daily and sometimes we receive six victims in a day, today we received four victims one of them was a new rape case which last for 72 hours and we gave her birth control pills and we follow up the pregnant victims and make the necessary tests till birth.

 

Rape witnessed a staggering increase in recent years, which forced governmental organizations to sound the alarm of an impending disaster after the number of victims in Nouakchott reached to hundreds annually, the victims often marginalized by community which make them fail to adapt to their new reality, so far the efforts are symbolic and need to be promoted more by civil society.
